The Hidden Beauty of Seeds & Fruits

The Hidden Beauty of Seeds & Fruits

Macro Plant Photography! British photographer Levon Biss captures the exotic beauty of 117 species of dried fruits and seeds worldwide.

In the fruit archives of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in Scotland, a large collection of dried specimens is preserved. These specimens, once plump seeds or fruits, have undergone drying treatment, causing pods to become rough or cracked, covered by dehydrated bristles. At first glance, ordinary people might find them slightly eerie, but in the eyes of British photographer Levon Biss, they are rare shooting subjects. He spent hours selecting 117 pieces, capturing a series of stunning macro photos, which were compiled into the 作ċ“é›† The Hidden Beauty of Seeds & Fruits, showcasing the hidden beauty of fruits and seeds!

Currently, Biss’ series of photos is being exhibited at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, scheduled to run until the end of October. The collection The Hidden Beauty of Seeds & Fruits is also available for purchase on online marketplaces. In addition to plants and seeds, Biss has created a series of photos themed on insect specimens. For those interested, welcome to visit Biss’ website or Instagram to enjoy more of his works.
